DO i HAVE TO MAKE AN appointment?

No! WGEC encourages students to come into the office during our in-person hours. We have designated times for women and trans students to offer more personal support and access to resources. Students are also welcome to reach out to us in order to book an office hour visit by emailing our Logistics Coordinator at utmwgec.logistics@gmail.com.

When is WGEC OPEN?

WGEC is open all year round. We have both virtual and online office hours, where students are invited to reach out to our executives for peer support, to share concerns, and gain access to sanitation and sexual health products. We also encourage students to ask us about current opportunities at WGEC.

What is the difference between in-person and virtual office hours?

While both types of office hours allow students to seek peer support and make requests for sanitation and sexual health products, in-person hours offer students the ability to access food and drinks available in the office, as well as educational books and pamphlets. Virtual office hours are ideal for discussing personal issues and seeking one-on-one support.

HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE ALLOWED IN THE OFFICE?

Currently, we are following social distancing rules as outlined by the University of Toronto. While several students may come in to the office at one time, we do not encourage more than two students to stay for longer than twenty minutes. Students are welcome to come in and grab a quick snack to-go, and are encouraged to leave their name and email address for general requests.
