What do we offer?

Snacks

​We offer a variety of snacks, including vegetarian and vegan friendly options, as well as coffee, hot chocolate, milk, juice and pop. We also provide snack options  that are nut-free.

​Insertive condoms, dental dams, tampons & pads, personal hygiene products. If you can't find what you need in our office, we'll do our best to help you find it.

PEER SUPPORT

We provide confidential and encouraging peer support during our office hours so you can feel safe and comfortable to talk about whatever is on your mind. ​

Safe Space

We  provide a space where individuals of oppressed communities can feel safe while studying, relaxing, and expressing their thoughts and feelings.

We provide gender affirming
​gear and services

We cover gender affirming gear up to $500 for the 2022-23 school year which can be claimed from May 1st 2022 until Aug 31st 2023 by emailing utmwgec.logistics@gmail.com with the receipt(s).

election season is finally Here.

⏱️The election season timeline is as follows:
Nomination Period: March 13 to 17
Campaign Period: March 20 to 24
Voting Period: March 27 to 31
📥️The positions available for election are:
Financial Coordinator, Marketing Coordinator, Events Coordinator, Volunteer Coordinator
If you are interested in becoming a candidate for the WGEC  2023 election, please contact campus.groups@utmsu.ca to receive a nominations package, during the nomination period.

WGEC TOWNhall meeting: funding and reimbursements. 

We would like to formally apologize to all UTM students for the last few months, but especially to the transgender and nonbinary students and community of our university.  Please join us over Zoom on Monday, March 13th, 2023, and Tuesday, March 14th, 2023, at 8-9 p.m. EST for our WGEC Gender Reimbursement Town Hall Meetings.

Our office is located in MN 2285 (second floor of the Maanjiwe Nendamowinan building). The elevator is located in the centre of the atrium, just to the right of the large staircase. All inclines and doors leading to the office are wheelchair accessible.
